Down Ampney Gardening Club
Down Ampney Gardening Club is in its 32nd year. It is open to all residents in Down Ampney and the surrounding districts. Meetings are on the third Thursday of each month at 7.30 pm in the Down Ampney Village Hall and has a monthly speaker or social activity which includes visits to other gardens. Following the talk, you can buy a raffle ticket and enjoy refreshments.
The annual subscription is £8 payable in January.
Entrance to club meetings is free to members and normally £2 (£5 when a social) for visitors.
A Plant Sale is held in May. Everyone is ‘urged’ to bring their spare plants and purchase some bargains. Profits go towards paying for speakers.
The Annual Village Show which is held at the beginning of September encourages all ages to enter. Both events are great fun.
